- improvement of physical and psychological condition
Contraindications to massage
We divide into total and partial. In case of health problems it is necessary to seek medical advice and postpone the massage. If you are unsure about the suitability of a massage, consult your doctor beforehand. In case of general contraindications, massage is not recommended.
General contraindication. It is necessary to inform the masseur about the following conditions and diseases:
- bacterial, acute, infectious and inflammatory
- oncological diseases
- febrile and bleeding conditions
- skin suppurations and fungi
- active TB
- kidney inflammation
- varicose veins, thrombosis
- heart disease, fluctuating and high blood pressure
- epilepsy
- extreme fatigue and exhaustion (massage is suitable only on the second day)
- drunkenness and ingestion of psychotropic substances
- atherosclerosis and osteoporosis
Partial contraindication (massage can be performed, but with restrictions) in cases of:
- three weeks after taking antibiotics
- women who are menstruating
- pregnant women and 8 weeks after childbirth
- 8 weeks after surgery
- just after a meal (min. 2-3 hours)
